EPPOG Masterclasses 2008 - Questionaire

Dear Masterclass instutes and responsibles,

As a first act of preparing the EPPOG Masterclasses 2008 in the position of project manager, I would like to send you the first circular email to gather information if you and your institute would like to participate in the Masterclasses 2008 or not. If yes, please fill out the attached questionaire.
Further, note the following modifications w.r.t. last year

i) In order to prevent overcrowding of the video conferences
  we will have only *one* day of student video conferences
  for each site (plus optionally a second teacher's day)

ii) we have several different exercise programs available, which we will
   group together as indicated in the attached file.

  o Beginners should pick: LEP Z-decays (+ look at some LHC events)
  o Experienced sites can add a 2nd exercise (alpha_s or WW)
    (see  http://www.physicsmasterclasses.org/physics/physics.htm
    in "Hands on CERN" or "Identifying Particles" )
  o "Brave" sites might try out a completely new LHC exercise instead,
    which is under development at RAL, UK and Athens, Greece. A first sneak preview of the RAL system is available at
    http://mwielers.home.cern.ch/mwielers/masterclass/events.html .
    RAL will use this system the first time on March 12th to March 14th, 2008.     The Greek system HYPATHIA is currently under construction and will be available online soon.

Please return the filled-out form until Thursday November 15th, 2007.

Please also keep in mind, to check our website (http://www.physicsmasterclasses.org) once in a while to see if the information on your country or institute is still up-to-date. If this is not the case, just let me know. I wish us all a relaxed preparation of the EPPOG Masterclasses 2008 and joyful as well as memorable 2 weeks in February and March next year.
