The Institute for Particle Physics (IPP) belongs to
the Physics
Department of the ETH
Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) and is engaged
in research and teaching physics. The Institute's research is focused
on
the fields of particle- and astroparticle physics. The instititute is
involved among others in the following experiments: ALEPH, CMS, H1, ICARUS and MAGIC.
In addition, there are experiments with low-energy positrons, with cosmic
rays (L3+C)
at CERN, a search for antimatter and dark
matter in space (AMS), mass spectroscopy (TANDEM) and searches for violation of time
reversal invariance in muon and neutron decays (at PSI)
Members of the institute are also committed to
teaching. For some of lectures hold at the the institute further
information can be found here.
The complete list of lectures at the ETH is available in online
lectures.
