The International Masterclasses 2008 have started today. For any information on running an Masterclass day, refer to the respective agendas: Z0 agenda, Z0+WW agenda, Z0+αs agenda, Z0+LHC agenda.

New 2008 Masterclass press release (.doc file, eng, deu) available for release in local/non-local newspapers to communicate the activity to the public.

The EVO support team has finished the official EVO test sessions. From 75 participating institutes, 4 are left having not yet tested their setup. For details on the video test outcome, see the Masterclass evo schedule or with Marek's summary file.
All institutes not meeting the EVO video linkup requirements will not be allowed to take part in the international Masterclass video conference.

Marek Domaracky (Marek.Domaracky{at}cern.ch) from the EVO support team has provided an EVO video requirements list, that every participant should read and accomplish before the EVO tests. It is available for download as .pdf document.
- The Masterclass schedule has been sent around and is now available as .pdf and .xls file.
We have also set up a schedule for the video link-up testing sessions (evo schedule) that will take place from January 17th to February 1st, 2008. You can access it as .pdf and .xls file again.
- In 2008 two special "teachers days" (Sa 1.3.2008 and Mo 3.3.2008) will be introduced for the EPPOG masterclasses 2008.

The preparation of the EPPOG Masterclasses
2008 has started.
The first circular
questionaire (for download:

email) was distributed to institutes that already participated in 2007. Applying Participants for 2008 are asked to return the filled-out questionaire until November 15th, 2007.
