In the table below, you will find zip files for download. These files contain the sets of files you will need for translation of the teaching systems. Move your mouse cursor over the entries for further information. First is the MANDATORY column. It contains the packages needed to translate the parts of the teaching systems used for the mandatory exercises. Second is the COMPLETE column, containing packages needed for complete translation of the teaching systems. Finally, in the IMAGE column, you can find packages that mirror the teaching systems as they are found on our server.

These versions may differ from the originals and there may also be variations throughout the language versions. More recent versions of the teaching systems can possibly be found at their original sites. For "A Keyhole To The Birth Of Time" there can also be found information about translating.

We would appreciate very much, to have at least one of the mandatory packages translated to a native language of each participating country. Please have a look at the Exercises, to see if translations to your native language are available already.

Translation should in general be done by translating all HTML files in the packages below and sending them back to us ( changed files only, please ). If you want to see a preview of what you have translated, you should download the IMAGE package and copy your edited files into the image. If you also want to translate animations and / or images, you are welcome. While most animations are included in the COMPLETE packages, for translation of images, you will need to download the IMAGE package.

In order to run this exercise rather from your hard disk or from a CD than from our web server, please download the Java policy file ( all languages - 1 KB ) and save it to your home directory. ( For Windows2000/XP this should be "C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME", on Unix and Linux it is just "~". ) Otherwise the java applets included in this exercise will not work.
